TOUPTEK SKYEYE 62AM PLUS CAMERA [MONO]

The ToupTek SkyEye 62AM IMX 455M PLUS Mono is a cooled astronomy camera using the Sony IMX455 full-frame 16-bit back-illuminated CMOS sensor. With a quantum efficiency of >91%, read noise as low as 0.9e- and 3.76µm pixels, the SkyEye 62AM Plus is a professional deep sky camera for a wide range of telescopes.

The SkyEye Plus series is the flagship upgrade of the classic SkyEye lineup, featuring major improvements in electronics, sensor window design, cooling and mechanics. Available in full-frame and APS-C, it delivers a more stable and powerful deep-sky imaging experience.

The camera features 3.76µm pixels and a high resolution of 61MP. The large full-well capacity of 51ke- means you can capture faint targets without overexposing stars. The SkyEye 62AC is equipped with 5Gbps USB 3.0 connectivity and 512MB of DDR3 memory resulting in fast transfer speeds and reliability. Compared to the previous generation's framerate of 6.2 FPS @ 8-bits , the Plus version can capture as fast as 55.8 FPS @ 8-bits.

The ToupTek SkyEye 62AM has zero amp glow, even at high gain and over long exposure times. The below image shows two 5-minute exposures at 20°C with different cameras. The ToupTek image on the right shows no visible amp-glow. Combined with its low dark current and powerful TEC cooling up to -35 to -40 °C below ambient, the camera is capable of teasing out fine details of faint nebulae.

The SkyEye 62AM features a built-in dew heater around the protective window with 4 levels of adjustable heating power. The camera includes an integrated four port USB 2.0 hub, allowing you to connect guide cameras, electronic focusers, filter wheels and other accessories.

The full-frame models feature a larger 43 x 31mm sensor window which is 26% larger than the previous generation, reducing vignetting with fast optical systems.
