The new Sky-Watcher Wave 100i and 150i are strain wave GO-TO equatorial/alt-azimuth mounts designed for serious astrophotography and visual observing. The strain wave gearing, also known as Harmonic Drive, results in precise tracking, minimal backlash, and a very compact design. This eliminates the need for counterweights with smaller payloads, making these mounts extremely easy to setup and use.
