The Takahashi Multi-Reducer is a 0.85x focal reducer for FC/FS fluorite refractors from 50 - 76mm aperture, as well as the FCT-65D. The reducer has an image circle of 44mm, making it suitable for use with full-frame and APS-C sensors (APS-C recommended for best results). 

 

 

The 0.85x Multi-Reducer utilizes a high precision optical design with 4 elements in 3 groups, engineered to deliver coma-free images over a large image circle while maintaining excellent illumination across the field. 

Three different models of the Multi-Reducer 0.85x are available to suit different telescopes:

  • Multi-Reducer 0.85x-S Short | Compatible with FS-60CB, FS-60CP, FS-60CBX & FS-60C. Includes a CA ring for the above telescopes (although this cannot be used with the now discontinued FS-60C due to focus position contraints).
  • Multi-Reducer 0.85x-M Medium | Compatible with FCT-65D & FS-50. Includes dedicated CA ring for the above telescopes.
  • Multi-Reducer 0.85x-L Long | Compatible with FC-76DCU, FC-76DP, FC-76DS, FC-76DC, FC-60, FC-65 & FC-76. Includes CA ring compatible with the FC-76D series and FC-60.
