The Takahashi FS-60Q is a Fluorite apochromatic doublet refractor with an included 1.7x extender, making it a long focal length version of the FS-60CB. The air-spaced fluorite doublet has excellent chromatic correction across the visual spectrum.
With the 1.7x extender connected, the result is a quadruplet 600mm f/10 planetary scope with a large flat field. The extender can be removed, transforming the telescope into the standard FS-60CB 355mm f/5.9 configuration.
The FS-60Q is equipped with a precise rack and pinion focuser designed with imaging in mind.
Note: The OTA ONLY variant does not include tube rings or a dovetail bar. For the FS-60Q, you can use the PrimaLuceLab 80mm PLUS tube rings in combination with the PrimaLuceLab 240mm Vixen bar.
