TAKAHASHI FCT-114D TRIPLET OTA
The Takahashi FCT-114D is a Fluorite apochromatic triplet refractor which excels visual and photographic use. With a Strehl ratio of 97.5% and virtually zero chromatic aberration, the FCT-114D offers crisp, high-contrast views at high magnifications.
The optional field flattener and focal reducer transform the FCT-114D into a versatile astrograph with ≤ 6μm RMS spot diameters at the edge of a full-frame image circle, making it an excellent choice for modern sensors.
The FCT-114D is available in two different configurations:
- FCT-114DS using the same focuser as the TOA-130NS, optimized for visual observation.
- FCT-114DF using the 1:8 fine-focuser as found on the FSQ-85EDX to support heavy camera setups.
Note: Does not include tube rings or a dovetail bar. Optional 114WB Tube Holder is available to order. Additionally, you can use the PrimaLuceLab 115mm PLUS tube rings in combination with the PrimaLuceLab 240mm Losmandy bar.
