The Takahashi FC-100DZ is a Fluorite apochromatic doublet refractor which excels visual and photographic use. The updated design from the FC-100DC/DF has better colour correction, with an air-spaced fluorite doublet. The optional field flatteners and focal reducers transform the FC-100DZ into a versatile astrograph.
The FC-100DZ is equipped with a precise rack and pinion focuser designed with imaging in mind. The FC-100DZ has a native focal length of 800mm and a focal ratio of f/8, making it a versatile instrument for both terrestrial and astronomical use.
A selection of different field correctors are available to suit different applications (sold separately).
Note: The OTA ONLY variant does not include tube rings or a dovetail bar. For the FC-100DZ, you can use the PrimaLuceLab 95mm PLUS tube rings in combination with the PrimaLuceLab 240mm Losmandy bar.
