The Takahashi 76RD Reducer is a 0.73x focal reducer for FC-76DC/DS fluorite doublet refractors. The optical design of this corrector is optimized for today's digital sensors, with better chromatic correction and field flatness.

The 76RD Reducer has an image circle of 36mm, making it suitable for use with APS-C sized sensors and smaller. The 0.73x reduction factor transforms the FC-76DC/DS into a 417mm f/5.5 widefield astrograph.

In order to use the 76RD Reducer with the FC-76DS you will need the following adapters (sold separately):

  • CAA (SKY90) TKA21200 - M56 x 0.75 Female to M56 x 0.75 Male 20mm
  • Multi CA Ring 76 TKA18203 - M52 x 0.75 Female to M54 x 0.75 Female 18.8mm
