SKYWATCHER HELIOFIND MOUNT

The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest Heliofind mount is a portable and accurate solar tracking mount. With simply one push of a button, the mount automatically searches for and aligns to the Sun using its built-in solar finder, GPS and 3-axis accelerometer. With a carrying capacity of up to 5kg, the Heliofind can hold small refractors and dedicated H-alpha scopes such as the Daystar SolarScout 60DS.

The Heliofind mount doesn't need to be manually aligned - just push the button and its sensors automatically lock on to the Sun and track for hours at a time. A manual 8-way joystick allows for fine centering if using long focal length setups. This makes it the perfect option for educators, tour groups and eclipse chasers. The mount can be powered by 8 x AA batteries or any 12V DC 0.5A power supply by using the included battery adapter (power supply not included):

NOTE: Telescope and tripod are not included.

WARNING: A dedicated solar telescope or telescope with an appropriate solar filter must be used with this mount. Do not attach any other kind of telescope or device to this mount without a proper solar filter, otherwise irreversible damage to eyes and equipment may occur!
