SKYWATCHER CQ350 PRO MOUNT

The new Sky-Watcher CQ350 Pro is an observatory-class GO-TO Equatorial mount designed for serious astrophotography and observing with large telescopes. With a high payload of 35kg, the CQ350 is suitable for large OTAs with long focal lengths.

The CQ350 features spring-loaded worm gears with synchronous wheel and belt transmission for accurate tracking with minimal backlash. The mount also features automatic home positioning sensors.

The built-in 4 port USB hub below the saddle plate allows you to connect your camera, guider, filter wheel and other USB accessories. This reduces the amount of cables hanging from the telescope which can get caught or introduce drag during an imaging session. The hub also includes three 5.5 x 2.1 DC power ports, allowing accessories to be powered through the mount.

The CQ350 also features the new PC Direct Connect function. This allows you to directly connect the mount to a computer or control unit, completely bypassing the hand controller. When paired with the SynScan Pro app for Windows, the mount can be aligned and controlled direct from a PC. This makes imaging refined and easier, especially for those with permanent set ups.

Note: The CQ350 does not include a tripod or pier. An optional tripod specifically designed for this mount is available. It is also compatible with the EQ8 pier tripod.
