The Sky-Watcher 0.7x Reducer for Skymax 200DX is a precision corrector which provides a wider field of view and faster focal ratio for deep sky imaging. The 0.7x reduction factor shortens the focal ratio f/7 and focal length down to 1400mm, significantly reducing exposure times.
The two-element reducer is optimized for a 30mm image circle, giving sharp stars across an APS-C field of view. The reducer has a backfocus requirement of 55mm and M48 x 0.75 threads, making it straightforward to connect common imaging trains.
