SEESTAR TH10 FLUID TRIPOD HEAD

The Seestar TH10 is a compact hydraulic tripod head, designed for the TC20, to enable the S50 and S30 to operate in equatorial (EQ) mode, you will need to purchase the TC20 separately if you have the S30. The Seestar TH10 offers a durable full-metal construction and compatibility with most tripods and accessories on the market.

With its quick-release plate that supports both 3/8″ and 1/4″ screws, it makes possible to build easy setups with a wide variety of devices.

Thanks to a self weight of 411g, the Seestar TH10 allows up to 5kg of payload.

The ergonomic hydraulic damping system, helps for a very smooth polar alignment and with 360° pan and -90° to 90° tilt, the TH10 allows moderate dumping for effortless adjustments and steady control

With a single click it is possible to quickly switch to equatorial mode calibrating the angles by the scale. A secure locking is guaranteed by an knob that also facilitates multi-angle shooting.

The combo Seestar S50 and TC20 is not compatible with region located below 15° latitude because the head might hit the tripod leg.

Connection

1. Unfold the tripod TC20, adjust each leg to the desired length and securely lock them in place.
2. Place the tripod body on a flat, stable surface and align one leg roughly towards the North or South based on your Hemisphere. Use the spirit level to adjust the leg height to ensure the tripod plate is horizontally set up.
3. Install TH10 by screwing the 1/4″ to 3/8″ threaded screw adapter into the Seestar. You can use a coin wrench to tighten the screws of the adapter.
4. Attach the quick release plate, making sure it fits securely with the Seestar. Tighten the screws on the quick release plate to ensure proper polar alignment during the setup process.
5. Tighten the horizontal adjustment knob at the bottom of the TH10 and attach the TH10 to the tripod. Then, loosen the knob and keep the dovetail groove pointing North (or South), which should align with the north-facing (or south-facing) support leg. Tighten the knob.
6. Install the Seestar device onto the TH10, aligning it with the dovetail groove. Tighten the knob firmly to ensure the equipment is secure. Once confirmed, the installation is complete.
