This Prima Luce Lab T2 (M42) extension has an optical thickness of 9mm. On one side there is a T2 (M42) male thread and on the other side a T2 (M42) female thread. The extension is made of anodized aluminium and it has an external knurling for a better grip to screw and unscrew it. 

M42 extension rings can be used with optical accessories such as field flatteners or focal reducers to position the camera sensor at the right distance from the corrector/reducer. The flange-sensor distance is often equal to 55mm and it must be precisely calculated in order to maximize the optical performance of the corrector/reducer.

M48 spacer 0,5mm

T2 extensions can be screwed together. In order to set the perfect thickness you need, you can also add the T2 1mm and 0.5mm spacers in between.
