PLANEWAVE SERIES-5 CONTROLLER

The PlaneWave Series-5 Controller has been designed to operate both the Series-5 Focuser and Rotator, as well as for powering the fans of the CDK12.5 to CDK24 telescopes.

Includes M12 circular 5-wire threaded connector heads for environmental sealing. The ports on the rear of the controller are as follows:

• 1 x DEW port for powering the built-in dew heater pads of the telescope.
• 1 x OTA-I/O port for controlling the telescope's cooling fans and reading environmental sensors.
• 2 x PW BUS OUT ports for connection to the Series 5 Focuser and Rotator.

Initially designed for the Delta Rho 350, the Series-5 Focuser/Rotator are also compatible with the CDK12.5, CDK14, CDK17, CDK20, CDK24, and the CDK700. Controlled via PWI3 software for autofocusing and optional field de-rotation (if using an Alt/Az mounted system).

The Series-5 Controller can be controlled using PlaneWave's PWI 4 software with ASCOM support.

The Series-5 Controller includes the functionality of the Delta-T and EFA and replaces these older systems for the Delta Rho telescopes. The Delta-T and EFA are likewise not compatible with the Delta Rho series.

Note:  The Series-5 Controller requires 24V. Power source must never be hot-plugged! Always connect your power supply (sold separately) with the device in the OFF position.
