GreenLine Roll-off Observatory kits by Dome Parts Optical are cost-effective and ecologically friendly DIY alternatives to observatory domes. Made in Germany, these roll-off kits are extremely simple to install as they do not require specialized tools and are supplied as a flat pack.

The GreenLine MEDIUM-32 is spacious with a floor space of 2.25m x 2.25m. The ample space has enough room for telescopes up to 14" along with optional tables, workbenches and shelf storage. The base configuration includes a user friendly manually-operated dual slanted roof and folding rear shutter.

GreenLine observatories are available in a range of sizes to suit single small telescopes to multi-scope remote installations. Optional semi-automatic roof drive systems for all Mini, Medium and Big roll-off observatories are available, as well as full ASCOM-automation configurations for remote control over Ethernet and USB. All Greenline observatories have pre-installed cogrim gears, pulleys and counterweights. The roof drive system can be easily added and is as simple as inserting the motor unit.

Greenline observatories are fumigated but the wood is not treated. As these observatories have been delivered all over the world, Greenline recommends using the proper treatment specific to the types of pests found in your local area.
