GEOPTIK BAG FOR NEWTONIAN 150 f/5

While this bag is designed for smaller Newtonian OTAs, it is large enough to fit several smaller 'scopes, as I have been doing. In this mode, though, you need to be aware that there is a good measure of space above your 'scopes (that I have filled with bubble-wrap to stop the top of the bag sagging onto the 'scopes).
It is handsome in its Ferarri red with black trimmings, and very well made. It is also tough as on one occasion I had a 19kg load that I needed to transport and I saw no sign of stress in the bag: there was no stitch being strained, the handles and straps felt very secure, and the bag kept its shape during and after the incident. The padding is useful in a way that I hadn't anticipated: that 19kg weight meant that the bag bumped against my legs often but without noticeable hurt, thanks to the padding.
I recommend it highly. I also have several other Geoptik bags and all are of the same high quality.
