CELESTRON X-CEL LX EYEPIECE 1.25" 12mm

The Celestron X-Cel LX 12mm 1.25" eyepiece features a 6-element, fully multi-coated lens design optimized for planetary viewing.

The X-Cel LX 12mm has a generous 60° apparent field of view, perfect for viewing planets, stars and the Moon’s surface. This eyepiece provides high power magnification, perfect for detailed views of the Lunar surface and many deep sky objects.

The X-Cel LX 12mm eyepiece’s main housing is machined from high grade aluminium with a black anodized outer surface. Its 1.25" barrel is internally threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters and adapters. It is compatible with 1.25” star diagonals and focusers.

On the exterior of the eyepiece, you will find a uniquely designed, moulded rubber grip ring for non-slip handling during observing sessions, even if you have gloves on.

The pop-up eyecups make it easy to adjust the height for different users. Turn them in one direction to extend the length, and the other direction to provide a flat surface, preferable to most eyeglass wearers.
