BAADER VARIABLE M42 (T2) EXTENSION 12-16 mm
Baader Planetarium
BAADER VARIABLE M42 (T2) EXTENSION 12-16 mm is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Baader variable M42 (T2) extension is an ingenious combination of three parts of the Baader T2 system:
- one ring with continuous M42 (T2) external thread
- one ring with continuous female M42 (T2) thread
- a very short M42 (T2) lock ring
It can be used in applications where it is necessary to reach an exact distance, for example between a flattener/reducer and camera sensor. It can be also used as conversion ring from male to female thread.
No counter nut is included, so in order to vary the extension, this must be done with the unit in place between the other components in your image train. This is so that each section of the variable extension can lock against the other parts of the image train. The shortest distance is 12 mm while the longest distance is 16 mm.
