BAADER UV/IR-CUT & CMOS L-FILTER
Baader Planetarium
BAADER UV/IR-CUT & CMOS L-FILTER - 1.25" is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Baader UV/IR-cut / CMOS-optimized Luminance filter is a photographic filter designed to reject the ultraviolet and infrared ends of the spectrum, where telescope optics are not typically corrected. The transmission is 98% over the entire visible spectrum between 420 - 685nm. This is an essential accessory for CMOS cameras which do not have a built-in IR-cut coating on the sensor glass.
The optical surface is fine-optically polished with Reflex-Blocker coatings for the best possible halo suppression and increased contrast with CMOS cameras. Additionally, the filter has Life-Coat hard coatings for durability and lifetime usage. The edges are completely blackened and sealed to eliminate internal reflections. All CMOS-optimized Baader filters are the same thickness for parfocality.
Available in 1.25" and 2" mounted. The filter cell is threaded on both ends so that multiple filters can be stacked. All Baader filters (excluding 100 x 100mm) come in stackable labelled filter boxes which can be attached to each other to form a sturdy filter library.
