ASKAR EAF MOUNTING KIT FOR SQA55

The Askar SQA55 EAF Kit allows you to install the ZWO EAF, QHY Q-focuser, iOptron iEAF and Pegasus FocusCube 3 electronic focuser on the SQA55. With this kit, you will be able to fully utilize the SQA55 for automated astrophotography with remote autofocusing.

Note: This kit only includes the mounting hardware, NOT the SQA55 or electronic focuser.

• Bracket and L-plates to support different EAFs
  
• 3 x different synchronous belts (150MXL, 144MXL & 132MXL)
• Synchronous pulley with locking screws
• 2 x M4 x 10 screws
• 1 x M4 x 14.5mm screw
• 1 x M3 x 40mm screw
• 1 x M4 x 6mm screw
• 2 x M3 x 10mm screws
• 2 x M4 x 12mm screws
• 3 x different Allen wrenches (M3, M2.5 & M2)

Installation

1. Insert the adapter bracket into the quick-release base in the direction shown and tighten the bracket tension screw.

2. Attach the synchronous pulley to the electronic focuser and lock it tightly.

3. Place the electronic focuser on the base as shown in the picture.

4. Lock the electronic focuser fixing screws and the L-shaped hollow plate fixing screws, respectively (on the right side of the figure, after assembly).

5. By reversing the L-shaped hollow plates they can be adapted to electronic focuser accessories with larger hole spacings (as shown).

6. Install the synchronous belt as shown.
