ASKAR 0.76x REDUCER FOR 80PHQ is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Askar 0.76x Flattener/Reducer for the 80PHQ is a 3" corrector for full frame sensors. The flattener/reducer is a triplet design with one element of ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass. The 0.76x reduction factor shortens the focal ratio of the 80PHQ to f/5.7, shortening the exposure time and increasing the field of view.
When paired with this flattener/reducer, the focal length of the 80PHQ becomes 456mm, transforming it into an extremely capable widefield astrograph. The flattener/reducer has a backfocus requirement of 55mm, making it straightforward to connect common imaging trains.
