ADAPTER SC TO 2" is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This SC adapter allows to connect 2" accessories to instruments with SC thread such as:
- Schmidt-Cassegrain, EHD, ACF, telescopes from Celestron, Meade etc.
- Maksutov telescopes by Intes, Intes Micro
The adapter is simply screwed on the male SC thread. The accessories are held solidly by a brass ring without screw-marks and tilting.
The advantages of a direct 2" connection are:
- Better illumination as diagonals with SC thread often cause vignetting
- Straight-through observing without diagonal mirror becomes possible
- 2" photo adapters for astrophotography can easily be connected
