The Takahashi 1.5x Extender ED is a focal extender for TSA- & TOA- series refractors and FSQ-85 & FSQ-130 astrographs. The optical design of this corrector includes ED glass for excellent chromatic correction.
The Extender ED has a 2" barrel and features an M48 x 0.75 thread on the telescope side for connecting standard 2" mounted filters. To connect a camera, you can either use the 2" barrel receptacle or the optional TKA31201 CA-35 camera adapter. The extender on its own has a generous backfocus allowance of 117.7mm measured from the end of the housing.
The Extender ED can also be used in combination with the 35FL Flattener with the TSA-102/120 and TOA-130/150. The results in a flat field of 44mm.
