The Takahashi 1.5x Extender for the Epsilon 160ED transforms the Epsilon 160ED into a longer focal length 792mm f/4.95 astrograph. The optical design features 7 lenses in 5 groups, fully correcting the coma across a 44mm image circle, large enough for full-frame sensors.

This extender delivers a centre diffraction spot size of 2 microns and 8 microns at the edge of the field. The extender can also be used visually with additional adapters (see the system chart of the Epsilon 160ED).

Note: this extender is designed specifically for the optical formula of the Epsilon 160ED, so cannot be used with any other telescope model.
