The Takahashi 1.5x Extender for the Epsilon 130ED transforms the Epsilon 130ED into a mid-field 650mm f/5 astrograph. The optical design features 7 lenses in 5 groups, fully correcting the coma across a 44mm image circle, large enough for full-frame sensors.

This extender has been designed with modern small pixel cameras in mind, offering a centre diffraction spot size of 2 microns and 5 microns at the edge of the field. The extender can also be used visually with additional adapters (see the system chart of the Epsilon 130ED).

Note: this extender is designed specifically for the optical formula of the Epsilon 130ED, so cannot be used with any other telescope model.
