The 1x field flattener for the ASKAR 185APO is a dedicated corrector which transforms the telescope into a premium astrophotography instrument with a 44mm image circle. The working distance between the flattener and the sensor is 55mm from the M48 x 0.75 thread.
The flattener can be connected to the focuser of the Askar 185APO using an M92 x 1 male thread. On the camera side there are M68 x 1, M54 x 0.75 and M48 x 0.75 male threads. The flattener has an internal M48 x 0.75 thread to accept any standard 2" filter.
