The APM Riccardi 1.0x Apo Flattener Model 2 is a high quality triplet ED flattener for long apochromatic refractors. This model is suitable for refactors with focal ratios from f/7 and slower and focal lengths above 1000mm.
Designed by legendary optical designer Massimo Riccardi, this flattener provides a fully illuminated field of 60mm. It features exceptionally good correction of longitudinal and transverse aberrations with truly apochromatic performance. It has a large backfocus distance requirement of more than 115mm, making it possible to use a wide range of accessories such as rotators and off-axis guiders.
The APM Riccardi Flattener features state-of-the-art multi-coatings optimized for the spectral range of modern sensors.
