PLUS SIDE BY SIDE LOSMANDY PLATE MAXI 495mm

The Prima Luce Lab Side by Side Losmandy Plate Maxi 495mm belongs to the PLUS system (Prima Luce Universal System) and allows you to mount two telescopes in parallel on the same mount. You can also install a DSLR or mirrorless camera in parallel to the main telescope for widefield astrophotography. Includes 1x Losmandy 495mm Dovetail Bar and 2x Large Dual Dovetail Clamps.

The Losmandy bar has a system of slots, drilled and threaded holes that maximize the compatibility between parts, allowing several mechanical combinations and assembly solutions. For side by side mounting, attach the dovetail clamps the furthest holes from the centre, spaced approx. 455mm apart.

Each component of the PLUS system is carved from aluminium blocks that are CNC machined. Then, the aluminium is sandblasted to achieve a very smooth surface finish and is anodized (hard anodizing) to increase the hardness of the material and to protect it from oxidation.
