The Star Adventurer GTI is the new ultra portable WiFi and GO-TO equatorial travel mount ideal for astrophotography with small telescopes or telephoto camera lenses. Unlike the previous Star Adventurers, it features tracking in both right ascension and declination.
Note: Pier extension is not included but can be purchased here. Accessories vary by country.
In addition to the built-in WiFi with full smartphone control with the free app for iOS and Android devices, the GTI can be controlled with the Synscan hand controller (sold separately).
The Star Adventurer GTI features a Vixen style dovetail saddle for compatible accessories and optical tube assemblies. The mount can be powered up with 8 AA batteries or via mini USB port. It fits on the majority of tripods via its 3/8″ thread.
The SkyWatcher Star Adventurer GTI Tripod (optional) is a sturdy and lightweight platform for on-the-go imaging and observing. It features steel legs and an adjustable height of 68 - 113 cm. An accessory tray is included to hold eyepieces and other bits & pieces, as well as increasing the rigidity of the tripod.
Precise Polar Alignment for Pinpoint Stars Astrophotography
The integrated polar scope with an included illuminator helps the polar alignment process in both the Northern or Southern hemispheres. That is a great advantage for achieving professional astronomical photos. In addition, the auto-guide system enhances the tracking in both axes with a guide scope and camera (sold separately).

I would like to thank the guys at Testar for there excellent service and communication after I tried to buy from other company's that sold me the item and then told me I would have to wait until mid 2023 before they could send me the GTI ... ??
I ordered from Testar and the GTI arrived a few days later, although I have not set up my scope on the GTI yet as I'm still waiting for other bits to arrive, but I did mount my Coranado solar scope to the GTI and did a very rough alignment, and it works perfectly.

My copy of this mount seems pretty good. It's very smooth and handles up to my ED80 & 127 Mak pretty well for visual use - though they're the most you'd want to put on it. Drives well from either the Asi Air Plus or via the iPad using either the Synscan pro app or Sky Safari plus. Super light weight and easy to carry around. My main photography setup for this is the WO Z61 and Asi 294mc guided with FMA180 and 120mm via the AA+ which is probably getting towards the mount's limits for weight. Guiding so far has been averaging around 1" though there does seem to be times where the mount stops responding to Dec pulses and wanders out to 3" away then comes good - not sure what's happening there but 70% or thereabouts of my 5 minute subs seem to work out nicely. The dragons of Ara was 10 x 5 minute shots. I think Skywatcher have missed an opportunity by not quite allowing it to be used as an Alt Az mount as well - it gets pretty close - see pic, but not quite! Some aspects of the fit and finish like the polar scope cover and battery compartment fitting is very ordinary - if Skywatcher could address these and allow the scope to be used in Alt Az mode as well, they'd have a real winner. The dual attachment points for the counter weight shaft was a good idea to prevent the counterweights from hitting the tripod. At this point, I've probably used mine half a dozen times and so far, I think it's been good value for the money. Looking forward to getting it to some real dark sky sights over summer and will hopefully add a few more pics/info here.
