The ZWO 0.7x Flattener/Reducer for FF107 and FF130 telescopes is a 3" corrector for full frame sensors. The flattener/reducer is a triplet design with one element of ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass. The 0.7x reduction factor shortens the focal ratio of the FF107 to f/4.9 and the FF130 to f/5.4, shortening the exposure time and increasing the field of view.
When paired with this flattener/reducer, the focal length of the FF107 becomes 524mm and the FF130 becomes 700mm, transforming them into extremely capable widefield astrographs. The flattener/reducer has a backfocus requirement of 55mm, making it straightforward to connect common imaging trains.
