SKYWATCHER PIER TRIPOD FOR EQ8 & CQ350

The Sky-Watcher Pier Tripod for EQ8-series mounts is a heavy duty, rigid steel pier tripod designed for high stability and heavy loads. It is also natively compatible with the new CQ350 mount.

Unlike regular tripods, the pier offers the freedom for imaging at high altitudes without the risk of collision, a common problem for long refractors.

The tripod height is adjustable between 75 - 100cm and can be folded for transport. Three large footpads ensure stability and precise levelling on soft terrain. The weight of the pier tripod is 29.4kg.
