The SkyWatcher tripod extension for HEQ5 is a necessary accessory when you use a long refractor with your mount. In fact, telescopes with long tubes may hit the tripod legs when approaching the zenith.

This tripod extension fits the tripod of the HEQ5 mount but it can also be installed on the tripods of the NEQ5, EQ3, EQ5 and AZEQ5.
