The QHY6060 Pro Series is a high-performance scientific CMOS camera designed for advanced imaging applications in astronomy, life sciences, materials inspection, and industrial automation. Available in four variants—FSI Class 1, FSI Class 2, BSI Class 1, and BSI Class 2—this camera delivers outstanding flexibility and image quality for professionals and research institutions alike.
At the heart of the QHY6060 is a 37.6 Megapixel CMOS sensor (6134 x 6134 pixels) with a pixel size of 10 μm. This large-format sensor enables ultra-wide field imaging, making it ideal for deep-sky astrophotography, wide-field microscopy, and high-precision inspection systems.

The QHY6060 features a robust dual-stage thermoelectric cooling system capable of reaching -25 °C below ambient temperature, which drastically reduces dark current and thermal noise. This makes it suitable for long exposure imaging and high-dynamic range requirements. Optional liquid cooling configuration is available, allowing a much larger cooling delta of ~45 °C below ambient - contact us for more information.
The camera achieves 4 FPS at full resolution over USB 3.0 and 5.6FPS with 2 x 10GB fibre with optional PCIE kit, with ROI (Region of Interest) mode available for faster frame rates.
