The Takahashi FC-76DS is a Fluorite apochromatic doublet refractor which excels as a mobile instrument for visual and photographic use. The air-spaced fluorite doublet has excellent chromatic correction across the visual spectrum. The optional field flatteners and focal reducers transform the FC-76DS into a widefield astrograph.
The FC-76DS is equipped with a precise rack and pinion focuser designed with imaging in mind. The FC-76DS has a native focal length of 570mm and a focal ratio of f/7.5, making it a versatile instrument for both terrestrial and astronomical use.
A selection of different field correctors are available to suit different applications (sold separately).
Note: The OTA ONLY variant does not include tube rings or a dovetail bar. For the FC-76DS, you can use the PrimaLuceLab 95mm PLUS tube rings in combination with the PrimaLuceLab 240mm Vixen bar.
