The QHY9701M is a monochrome high-performance scientific imaging camera built around the Gpixel GSENSE9701 sensor, a large-format 1.3 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with low dark current, high quantum efficiency, and high dynamic range. This model is designed for high-end microscopy, micro-optics, biofluorescence and other scientific research fields.

The QHY9701M delivers an outstanding balance between resolution and sensitivity, featuring pixel dimensions of 9.76 μm, a sensor size of 12.493 mm × 9.994 mm, and a full-well capacity of ~70ke⁻ in low gain mode (~22ke⁻ in high gain). The QHY9701M has two different modes: Low Noise and HDR.

Its back-illuminated architecture ensures an exceptional quantum efficiency of 89% at 610nm, particularly in the UV and NIR regions, making it ideal for tasks such as spectroscopy, fluorescence imaging, remote sensing, astrophotography, and biological research.

The camera body integrates dual-stage TEC cooling (up to -35°C below ambient), significantly reducing thermal noise in long exposures.
