The QHY1920M is a high-speed, high-sensitivity scientific CMOS camera designed for precision imaging in demanding environments. With a 2.3 Megapixel monochrome sensor (1920 x 1080) and high sensitivity in the IR Spectra, it is ideal for capturing subjects in low light conditions.
Thanks to its global shutter technology, the QHY1920M reads out the entire sensor simultaneously, making it perfect for applications that require distortion-free imaging such as solar and planetary astrophotography, motion analysis, industrial inspection, and scientific experiments involving fast transient events.
The camera features a 12-bit ADC, the combination between a QE of 60-80% at the NIR and pixel size of 12 µm delivers excellent light sensitivity. It supports exposure times from 15 µm to 300 seconds, with full ROI control, binning capabilities, and external trigger support for precise synchronization.
To ensure optimal performance in long exposures, the QHY1920M includes a thermoelectric cooling system (TEC) capable of reducing the sensor temperature up to 32 °C below ambient, significantly minimizing dark current and thermal noise.
Equipped with a high-speed USB 3.0 interface and an internal DDR2 buffer, the camera ensures fast and stable data transfer even under heavy load. Its robust and compact body makes it suitable for laboratory, industrial, and astronomical settings alike.
