The ToupTek IMX462C Planetary Colour is a 1.25" barrel size planetary camera using the Sony IMX462C CMOS sensor. With a quantum efficiency of >89%, read noise as low as 0.49e- and 2.9µm pixels, the IMX462C is an excellent camera for high resolution planetary imaging with a wide range of telescopes.

 


The IMX462C's back-illuminated sensor has QE up to 89% and very good NIR sensitivity, making it possible to use IR-pass filters to cut through the atmosphere and bring out finer details.

 

 

The IMX462C is equipped with USB 3.0 connectivity as well as a traditional ST-4 autoguiding interface. Thanks to the high transmission speed of USB 3, the IMX462C can reach an incredibly fast 152FPS at full resolution. The built-in 512MB DDR3 memory ensures reliability over long sequences of high framerate video capture. Its 1.25" barrel design also makes it straightforward to use with most off-axis guiders (OAG not included).
