SKY ROVER HFW ZOOM ASPHERIC EYEPEICE 7.7 - 15.4mm

The Sky Rover HFW 7.7 - 15.4mm zoom eyepiece features a brand-new optical and mechanical design, making it highly versatile for both daytime terrestrial viewing and nighttime astronomical observation.

In most conventional zoom eyepieces, the field of view becomes noticeably narrower at lower magnifications, with significant variation across the zoom range. The SR 7.7 - 15.4mm zoom eyepiece has been greatly improved in this regard — whether zooming from low to high power or vice versa, the apparent field of view remains consistent throughout.

The introduction of aspheric lens elements further enhances edge sharpness and overall image quality. Each optical surface features broadband multi-layer coatings. In addition, the body is fully blackened for high contrast and stray light suppression. 

The HFW 7.7 - 15.4mm zoom eyepiece includes both 2" and 1.25" connections, as well as 1.25" and M48 x 0.75 filter threads, allowing you to attach a wide range of visual filters.

With 18 - 20mm of eye relief and foldable eyecup, the Sky Rover HFW zoom eyepiece is very comfortable to use, even with glasses. Clickstops throughout the zoom range allow you to easily identify magnification levels when observing.

Note: This eyepiece cannot reach focus when directly connected to the Sky Rover 70mm, 82mm, 100mm and 120mm Giant Binoculars, 100mm ED Binoculars, and 70mm, 82mm, 100mm and 120mm APO Binoculars.
