GUIDING CAMERAS

QHYCCD and ZWO guide cameras have high sensitivity, low noise and fast transfer speeds for worry-free guiding. Guiding is an important factor for long-exposure imaging of deep space targets and essential for all but the most expensive mounts.

The QHY 5-II and 5-III series and ZWO Mini cameras fit in a standard 1.25-inch eyepiece holder for simplified connection to guide scopes and off-axis guiders. A range of guide cameras are available with either monochrome or colour sensors and can double as high-speed planetary imagers.
