The Geoptik Binoplus Pantograph mount is a high quality Italian-made binocular mount complete with lightweight aluminium tripod and counterweight. The Binoplus is the result of many years of design and testing, with the help and suggestions of many amateur astronomers at star parties and events.
The Binoplus is a complete system with a purpose-designed tripod for maximum stability, with the entire mount rotating on roller bearings which ensure smooth and trouble-free operation. The system has been carefully designed for ease of setup and use in low-light conditions, with mechanical locks to hold the mount in place for totally safe operation.
Removable counterweights and counterweight bar make balancing a wide variety of binoculars straightforward. The anti-fatigue handle allows you to position the binoculars without straining your arms. Binoculars are securely locked in place with two clamps, preventing them from falling. The pantograph undergoes an epoxy-polyester finish (RAL 7035) which makes the system very resistant to weathering and surface scratches.
The Binoplus comes with aluminium tripod and one 5kg counterweight. Additional 5Kg counterweights are available along with a sturdy transport bag.
