Great!

I bought this corrector for my 200mm f4 Newt. I was using a much cheaper $165.00 coma corrector and could never get round stars on the edges of my images. Spent many hours collimating and adjusting back focus distance and could never get acceptable results. I was so frustrated! This more pricey corrector has changed everything. Amazing! With a 55mm backfocus distance im finally getting beautiful sharp, round stars across the entire image. That old saying "You get what you pay for" is so true here. So glad I invested in this coma corrector.

4-month review

Well after 4 months of consistent use considering the cloud cover at the moment, the 1x MPCC still impresses me with the 294MC. Even on very dense clusters like Omega Cen or the dense MW core stars in the background of Messier 7 everything is tight across the whole field.

works well out of the box for my 10" f5

Brought this for a modified 10" f5 Newt and my ASI294MC camera (19x13mm sensor size). Out of the box plug in and default 55mm back spacing worked flawlessly. I have used it with backspacing between 55mm and 57mm (with filters) without any noticeable changes in the quality . I haven't yet detected any coma within the field of view I have access to on my camera. Image here is a completely unedited live stack (166x 30sec live) - full frame of the 294MCP without any crop or modification (just auto stretch by ASI Studio)
