The Baader Hyperion 68° 24mm eyepiece uses high quality Phantom group-coatings for maximum contrast and zero internal reflections. Unlike the other Hyperion modular eyepieces, the 24mm version has a fixed focal length.
Both 1.25" and 2" barrels are included. Each barrel is threaded for connection of all standard 1.25" and 2" filters.
Various focal lengths are possible with the addition of FTR fine tuning rings (excluding the 24mm version).
Baader Hyperion eyepieces provide a wide 68° apparent field, sharp field stops and excellent ergonomics for comfortable observing. Baader's Phantom Group coating is a 7-layer broadband anti-reflective coating with extremely low residual reflection. Each group of lenses has this coating applied. The coating has been optimized so that they are most effective where the human eye has its greatest sensitivity at night, at around 520nm.
