The Takahashi Epsilon 130-ED is an ultra-fast widefield astrograph with a flat-field design for serious astrophotography. Featuring a hyperbolic primary mirror and integrated corrector, the Epsilon 130ED provides very good correction over a 44mm image circle, with stars at the edge of the field being less than 10 microns in size.
The Epsilon 130ED is equipped with a precise rack and pinion focuser with camera angle adjuster for easy framing of targets. The Epsilon 130ED has a native focal length of 430mm and a focal ratio of f/3.3, making it the perfect instrument for imaging of large nebulae and star clusters.
Despite its photographic focus, the Epsilon doubles as an exceptional wide-field visual telescope, thanks to its fine optical correction. Collimation is straightforward with markings on each mirror and the included collimation eyepiece, allowing adjustment during the daytime.
