The 10 Micron GM1000 HPS Pier package is designed for permanent installations and includes all the accessories needed to start using your mount. This bundle includes the following items:

The Testar Pier 2000 is engineered in-house by us based on the original design by 10 Micron using FEM analysis to ensure structural superiority compared to other piers on the market. The thick steel construction, dip galvanization and powder coating make it virtually indestructible, with a base thickness of 25mm and tube thickness of 8.2mm. The structural fins on the base are engineered to reduce low frequency vibration and avoid resonance effects caused by wind.

The switching power supply is a very high quality device with full Australian certification. It accepts 110 to 240V AC input, with the output ensuring the proper 24V, 5A (120W) power supply to the GM1000.

The package includes both a 3kg and 6kg counterweight to allow precise balancing of most imaging systems. Machined from stainless steel, 10 Micron counterweights are incredibly resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

The 10 Micron Cordura bags are designed to reuse the shaped padding included in the transport cardboard box provided with the mount. This is an inexpensive system to safely transport the mount and its accessories when you travel to your preferred observation site.

The Astromi.ch MGBox V2 is a small, lightweight GPS weather station that provides positional informationbarometric pressuretemperaturehumidity and dew point information with superb accuracy.
