10MICRON GM1000 HPS HERCULES PACKAGE

The 10Micron GM1000 HPS Hercules package includes all the accessories needed to start using your mount. This bundle includes the following items:

• Geoptik Hercules tripod with 10Micron upholstered Cordura transport bag
• 12V to 24V power supply
• 1 x 3kg counterweight
• 1 x 6kg counterweight
• Soft carrying bag for mount
• 10M4105 Standard GPS receiver module

Custom made by Geoptik for 10Micron for the GM1000 and BM100L mounts, the Hercules is a fine wooden tripod, with a CNC machined and anodized aluminium base. The legs are made of “first choice” beech wood, treated for outdoor use. This material guarantees excellent stability and vibration damping, even with heavy loads.

The switching power supply is a very high quality device with full Australian certification. It accepts 110 to 240V AC input, with the output ensuring the proper 24V, 5A (120W) power supply to the GM1000.

The package includes both a 3kg and 6kg counterweight to allow precise balancing of most imaging systems. Machined from stainless steel, 10Micron counterweights are incredibly resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

The 10Micron Cordura bags are designed to reuse the shaped padding included in the transport cardboard box provided with the mount. This is an inexpensive system to safely transport the mount and its accessories when you travel to your preferred observation site.

The 10Micron Standard GPS Receiver Module is a vital tool for achieving the high-level accuracy inherent in 10Micron mount systems, particularly for field observations. By automatically inputting highly accurate local coordinates, date, and time, this module eliminates manual entry errors and ensures the mount is initialized with the precision required for complex sky modeling.
