The ZWO ASIAIR PLUS is a smart Wi-Fi device which connects your cameras and telescope equipment and allows to control them remotely using a smartphone or a tablet. The new PLUS version includes the much-requested dual-band WiFi antenna with a working range of up to 20 metres

The ASIAIR PLUS mainboard has been independently designed by ZWO to utilize integrated eMMC storage, resulting in a super stable and quick system with I/O speed increased up to 2.5x compared to the previous version. The larger 256GB version also has 26% faster data transmission speed with short exposures, plus 30% faster FPS in video mode.

Note: The free space of the 32GB version is 20GB. Free space of the 256GB version is 244GB.

2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2 and 4 x 12V DC switchable power out ports (now with indicator LEDs) allow you to connect cooled cameras, guide cameras, EAF focusers, and more. The newly added USB Type-C port makes transferring files to your PC super fast (with an optional USB-C to USB-A cable). The ASIAIR PLUS supports TF cards and USB drives for external data storage.

The required input voltage for ASIAIR Plus is 11V~15V. Normally it is recommend to use a 12V 5A power supply with 5.5-2.1 jack. The maximum output current for each 12V port is 3A, and the total output current for the 4 ports is 6A.

Note: the ASI cooled cameras cannot be powered over USB and require a separate 12V power source.

ASIAIR supports both iOS and Android systems:

Makes setup easy

I bought the ASIAIR PLUS to streamline my setup and workload and it hasn't disappointed, fast setup and polar alignment is the fastest I've encountered. Super easy and very intuitive. Would recommend to anyone

Easy as 1,2,3

This is the second ASI air plus I have purchased and it is a fantastic product.
I have two rigs using one ASI air on each and it makes each imaging session a breeze !
Highly recommend one especially with ZWO cameras & Electronic Focusing equipment
I use one on my AM5 mount and one on my skywatcher GTi

What a great gadget !

Finally a great interface to my scope !
Two things though - this really needs a user manual, and more control over the camera output (PNG would be nice, and colour balance).

ASIAir slick package and interface but seems to fall over where it counts

I got this ASIAir 256GB as I was starting out in EAA with a C8 and wanted something that made the transition from Planetary to EAA easier... Can't really use it for Planetary because the USB performance is too low. I get maybe 50% of the performance I get on an old laptop. For EAA well I had problems with Plate Solve and controlling the mount so it was taking longer to even get started.
I pulled out the laptop and installed Sharpcap, learning curve was not as hard as I was expecting and with the additional feedback from Sharpcap over ASIAir I was able to get going quickly. Have since invested in a cheap Mini-PC ~ $250 that performs as well as the laptop for planetary. I now use VNC to connect to the Mini PC from inside the house, and ASIAir Pro is back in the box. I may give the ASIAir Pro another try if I get another rig dedicated to AP. I think using ASIAIr with a C8 Nexstar SE for EAA is just not a great combination.

Gave it 3 stars because I can see the potential in the right scenario. I like the power management capability was even tempted to keep it on the scope just for that.
