WANDERER ASTRO WANDERERBOX ULTIMATE V2

The WandererAstro WandererBox Ultimate V2 is a lightweight industrial-grade 9-channel powered USB 3.1 & 2.0 hub with 9 DC power outputs. With a combined total of 16A, the WandererBox Ultimate can power your mount, cameras and other accessories with ease.

Six USB 2.0 HighSpeed ports and three USB 3.1 SuperSpeed ports can provide a total of 5A at 5V, enough to supply power to the ZWO EAF 5V, uncooled guide cameras and filter wheels. All USB ports can be remotely switched on/off simultaneously. 

Each USB port is equipped with ±20kV ESD surge protection for safe usage in very dry climates where static discharges can be an issue. The built-in 12V - 5V step-down module provides continuous current up to 5A, with a 6A self-recovery fuse to prevent overcurrent.

Nine 12V DC output ports are available, with up to two DC inputs providing a combined 16A (or 10A max with a single input). Ports 1-4 provide up to 6.5A current each, with ports 5-8 sharing a maximum total of 6.5A. Port 9 provides up to 8A. With 12V power connected, each USB output port can provide 5V (up to 5A in total).

Ports 1-3 are PWM outputs, allowing manual or automatic control of dew heaters, or can be set to switch-mode independently. Ports 4-8 are regular DC outputs for powering cameras, focusers, etc. Port 9 is an Always-On DC output. The built-in power sensor allows realtime visual monitoring of input voltage and current draw.

An optional environmental sensor and temperature probe allow you to monitor the dew point and control your dew heaters automatically. The WandererBox Ultimate software gives you complete control over power management, USB device properties, dew heaters, and more. 

The WandererBox Ultimate weighs only 188 grams. The CNC-machined aluminium alloy body features 2 x threaded M6 and 4 x threaded M4 holes for simple installation onto dovetail bars.
