The Unistellar Smart Solar Filter allows you to safely view the Sun with your eVscope or eQuinox smart telescope.

With the Unistellar Smart Solar Filter and Solar mode in the Unistellar App, you can easily track the Sun and monitor the fluctuating Sunspot number, which ranges in size from 16 km to 160,000 km and can last from a few days to several months. Thanks to the Unistellar app's GoTo Sun and Sun Tracking technology, your Unistellar smart telescope will automatically point to and track the Sun without the need for tedious and potentially dangerous manual pointing. The telescope accurately locates the Sun by detecting and measuring the difference in brightness gradient in the sky. Once the Sun is centred, the technology makes it possible to continuously track it throughout the observation.

Note: This model has a diameter of 112mm and is designed to fit the eVscope and eQuinox telescopes only. The Odyssey series requires the smaller 82mm solar filter.

Never observe the Sun without a proper solar filter in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Otherwise, there is risk of fire and permanent damage to equipment and/or eyes.
