Made entirely from anodized aluminum with stainless steel hardware, the low weight and high stability of this tripod makes it the ideal companion for travelling observers and Astro-photographers.

The model T-130 weighs only 7.6 kg but it has a staggering loading capacity of 100kg. When collapsed it is only 85cm high but it can be extended up to 130cm. 

T-Pod 110 comfortable handle

The built-in spreader system allows the tripod to be quickly and easily opened with no loose parts. The double leg locks and the bubble level make the levelling procedure easy The base of the legs can be fitted with ground spikes for soft ground or rubber tips for hard surfaces. In addition, the tripod are equipped with a convenient handle for easy transport.

 

The Avalon T-Pod 110 & 130 are compatible with the 10 Micron GM1000 - all you need are 3x M8 x 20 bolts.

The tripod is supplied with a padded carrying bag.

Expectations met.

I can confidently say the Avalon T-Pod is the sturdiest tripod I have owned in over 30 years of observing & telescope ownership. Upper echelon quality, precision machining & anodising….. well worth the price of admission. Has the look & feel of Italian style. Zero regrets :)
