The ZWO Counterweight Bar for the AM5 mount is made of 304 stainless steel and is needed for balancing loads that exceed 13kg. 

 

 

With a shaft diameter of 20mm and an M12 x 1.75 screw thread, the ZWO counterweight bar can be used with any mount that features matching threads.

Very nicely made and great quality.

The only downside is that the bar is so smooth that the counterweight locking mechanism can't grip on the polished metal, so the counterweights keep sliding off - easily fixed using some insulation tape.

As always, great service from the team at Testar.
