2" RACK & PINION FOCUSER FOR NEWTONIANS

This low profile dual speed 2" rack & pinion focuser is incredibly stable and boasts a high payload capacity of 8kg, making it an excellent upgrade for your Newtonian telescope. It is a perfect match for the Geoptik Nadirus Dobsonians.

Made from 6061-T6 Aluminium alloy for maximum strength and rigidity and anodized for corrosion resistance, this focuser is the perfect choice for the demands of astrophotography.

The bronze compression ring and clamping mechanism on the tension adjustment shaft minimizes tilt, which is important for imaging applications with large sensors. The 11:1 fine focus control allows for accurate and backlash-free focusing. An integrated 2" drawtube extension gives you 42mm of additional back-focus travel.
